FACULTY OF SCIENCES

The Faculty of Sciences was established in 1975 (formerly Faculty of Basic Sciences) with the initial missions of teaching Basic Sciences for students from various training programs in the University. Since then, the Faculty has been improving and developing itself.

The Faculty is responsible for giving lectures on Basic Sciences (theory and practice) for more than 2000 students / year in the University (including undergraduate university, college and in – service training). Besides teaching, the Faculty has done scientific researches, especially in Chemistry and Biology.

Oganization

The Faculty of Sciences has 5 departments which conduct education and research in variety fields of natural sciences. The Faculty also has a central administrative office which is responsible for the Faculty operational management.
