Erasmus+ Scholarship/Call for: STA (teaching)/or STT (training)/or Student Mobility for Studies (SMS)/ or Student Mobility for Practice* at the University of Bialystok

Call for: STA (teaching)/or STT (training)/or Student Mobility for Studies (SMS)/ or Student Mobility for Practice* at the University of Bialystok.

Professors/employees involved in the development of the Erasmus + programme, can be treated more prioritized in the recruitment procedure (for example granted with additional points etc.).

The STA mobility is addressed for teachers, who work at the College/Faculty.

The STT mobility is addressed for administrative staff/teacher/laboratory staff of the College/Faculty.

The SMS/SMP is addressed for students.

The Staff Mobility for Teaching requires minimum 8 hrs of lectures.

What are the formal requirements for STA/STT mobility among the project?

The mobility should take exactly 5 days in Bialystok, from Monday till Friday + 2 days of travel, no more and no less. In other case, the mobility cannot be financed at all.

 For example:

   1. Nominated teacher/member staff has to come to Bialystok no later than on Sunday

   2. The mobility will take part from Monday till Friday (full 5 days)

   3. Nominated teacher/member staff can depart from Bialystok no earlier than on Saturday

It doesn’t mean, that the participant has to leave Bialystok or Poland or the EU exactly on the 7th day of the mobility. It is possible to stay longer because of touristic reasons, but the scholarship will be paid exactly for 5 days of mobility + 2 days for travel.

Other example: It is not possible to come to Bialystok on Tuesday and start the mobility on Wednesday, because the weekend is treated by the National Agency for the Erasmus+ Programme as a brake at the mobility, which is not accepted.

In that situation, the scholarship cannot be paid.

What are the formal requirements for SMS mobility?

The SMS/SMP is not just an addition to the regular studies at home university. It is not a special course, tourist visit etc.

The sending institution has to include subjects from Faculty mentioned in the Learning Agreement to the individual student's schedule (plan) and programme of studies.

In general, there should be no differences in programmes of studies from both partner universities, during the time of mobility. One subject from Bialystok for one subject in Partner University. The results of studies: grades and the ECTS points received by student in Bialystok, confirmed by the Transcript of Records, must be converted to the American grade/points system and recognised by the Partner University.

That is why, the Learning Agreement must be filled by student very carefully.

After the mobility I will also ask You for the "Recognition report".

The academic calendar You can find here: http://www.uwb.edu.pl/academic-calendar

The catalogue of subjects can be found here: https://uwb.edu.pl/2020-2021

After the mobility, teacher, member staff or student can meet his/her colleagues to give some impressions about the visit in our university
