The Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources is established on December 2008 in combination of Faculty of Environmental Engineering (2001), Department of Landscaping and Environmental Horticulture (2002) and Department of Applied Geomatics (2006). It comprises of 6 departments: Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Natural Resources and Ecotourism, Landscaping and Environmental Horticulture, Applied Geomatics. Although it is one of the youngest faculties of University of Agriculture and Forestry (UAF) or Nong Lam University, born to meet social demands on the environmental protection, the faculty has many well- equipped laboratories.

o Land use/land cover change analysis;
o Natural resources and environmental monitoring;
o Natural disasters (Flooding, Drought, Landslide);
o Urban - Rural administration and planning/management;
o Management of Coastal areas;
o Climate change
- Planning, designing greenery and parks in urban areas
- Selecting indigenous plants suitable for wide ranges of landscape
- Domesticating imported plants to make it suitable for our natural conditions
- Establishing production process of valuable trees, flowers in other to serve social needs
