FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology was established in 1963 on the foundation of the Department of Agricultural Engineering. In 1976, Department of Agricultural Engineering was changed into the Faculty of Engineering. In 1993, Faculty of Engineering was renamed into Faculty of Engineering and Technology in order to accord with its developments in research and teaching activities. Currently, the Faculty consists of seven departments as Fundamental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Heat and Refrigeration Technology, Automobile Technology, Control Engineering and Automation, Mechatronics and Post Harvest and Food Processing Machinery. There are five workshops and four Labs serving for six educational majors in the Faculty. The Faculty has contributed significantly to the industrialization and modernization process in agriculture and rural areas in Vietnam.
