On March 9th 2015, Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City had a meeting with Prof.Zhang Jie from Northwest A & F University. The representatives from NLU are Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Hay – President Dr.Nguyen Ngoc Thuy – Head of International Cooperation Office.
The purpose of this visit is to introduce scholarship programs for post graduate studies in Agriculture at the Northwest A & F University.
Besides, the two universities discussed about the possibility of education and research cooperation in agriculture in the meeting. More importantly, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Hay also called for the support from the Northwest A & F University in organizing the International Conference SAFE 2015, one of the events to celebrate the NLU’S 60th Anniversary, hosted by NLU during 17-19 November 2015.
