2018 Rural-Up Community Long-Stay Program in Taiwan
Along with the success of the Rural Upgrade Program 2017, the 2018 Rural-Up Community Long-Stay Programcontinues in Taiwan with the participation of more than 03 universities from 3 countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. The whole program was held from 1st to 31st of July, 2018.
In the framework of cooperation between Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City and Chung Hsing University, Taiwan, this year, Nong Lam University – Ho Chi Minh City was honored to send 5 outstanding students and 1 faculty in a team participating in the project this year.
The program was an opportunity for students to experience life with the community in Taiwan. Besides picnics and group discussions, students were able to enjoy the diversity of Taiwan foods. They had a lot of fun activities, such as camping, visiting the green food production models and especially using natural resources from agriculture to produce handicraft products and self-produce with available materials with the knowledge they had gained at the university and in the program.
2018 Rural-Up Community Long-Stay Program was not only an opportunity for students to learn and exchange culture with Taiwanese people but also to introduce Vietnamese culture to people around the world.
