The Asia Virtual Academy organized by National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan provides a platform to promote academic/cultural exchanges and facilitate knowledge dissemination through a series of lectures offered jointly with NUK’s partner institutions namely Nong Lam University – Ho Chi Minh City, Bicol University, Philippines, Universitas Tanjungpura, Indonesia, Vel T ech University, India and National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan.

Objective

As international travel remains uncertain, the prospect of academic mobility seems unlikely anytime soon. Despite the difficult times, NUK is committed to maintaining partnership and promoting further collaborations with our sister universities. Thanks to the advent of modern technology, we can stay connected virtually. The Virtual Academy provides a platform to promote academic/cultural exchanges and facilitate knowledge dissemination through a series of lectures offered jointly with our partner institutions. The lecture series addresses a wide range of themes, encompassing Culture Exploration and Regional Economic Issues, etc. We look forward to having you share this new journey of virtual learning and collaborating.

Participating

The lecture series of the Asia Virtual Academy is open to all the students, faculty, and staff of the participating institutions. Participants need to register at least one week before the first lecture. Attendees will receive a certificate of participation, provided that they attend over 2/3 of the lectures.
