Measuring and Comparing Achievements of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education in Asia - CALOHEA
In order to implement the strategy of internationalization of higher education, on January 30, 2020, Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City registered to participate in the project “Measuring and Comparing Achievements of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education in Asia” – CALOHEA chaired by University of Groningen, Netherlands and in collaboration with ASEAN University Network. The project has now been approved by the European Union's Erasmus + Program.
General Objective: Contribute to the internationalization of higher education institutions through developing a series of interrelated measures indispensable for improving recognition of higher education degree
Project duration: 3 years and 6 months
Funding source: funded by the Erasmus + Program of the European Union
Participants: including 25 universities in Southeast Asia and 04 universities in Europe divided into 3 fields: Engineering, Medicine and Teacher Educaiton. Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City was selected to participate as a representative member of Vietnam in the Teacher Education group.
On March 9 and 10, 2021, an online project kick-off meeting was held. As required by the program, Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City University needs to consitute a team of 5-8 members.
Because the field of project is related to the Pedagogy, the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of Technical Education has nominated 05 members to participate:
1. Mr. Dao Duc Tuyen, Vice Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages and Technical Education cum Director of Center for Foreign Studies
2. Mr. Huynh Trung Chanh, Vice Dean
3. Mr. Le Minh Ha, Lecturer
4. Ms. Le Thi Tieu Phuong, Lecturer
5. Ms. Nguyen Dang Thi Cuc Huyen, Lecturer
On the International Cooperation Office side, there are currently 02 members participating:
1. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy, Head cum Lecturer of Faculty of Economics
2. Ms. Pham Thi Nguyet Khanh, Staff cum Teacher of Foreign Language Center
This is an opportunity to strengthen the University's position in Southeast Asia and the world as well as to enhance the research capacity of the faculty, the International Cooperation Office and the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of Pedagogy have been involved actively to contribute to the success of the project.
