On May 24, 2021, Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City (NLU) had an online meeting with Mr. Berndt Tilp, Director of DAAD Information Center in Ho Chi Minh City to discuss opportunities and programs cooperation in the futer. The attendees of the NLU were Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Vice President of the University, and Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy, Head of International Cooperation Office.

In the context of the complicated development of the Covid epidemic and strongly affecting the international cooperation activities of the University and the Center, bothsides discussed and agreed to promote international cooperation activities suitable to the context. in the region and around the world through online channels.

On the side of Nong Lam University, Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan invited Dr. Berndt Tilp participates in teaching activities at NLU and be as keynote speaker at the international conference at the end of 2021, thereby sharing information about scholarships from DAAD to lecturers, students and young researchers at the NLU.

On the DAAD side, Mr. Berndt Tilp also shared some information so that the NLU could contact Professors and Associate Professors from Germany with high expertise in the fields that the University is currently working on. Mr. Tilp committee will be the bridge to support and promote cooperation between the two sides.
