On March 9, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Tất Toàn, President of Nong Lam University, hosted a reception and working meeting with Prof. Dr. Lin Wei-Chih, Head of the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, along with representatives from 23 leading universities in Taiwan.

During the meeting, representatives from various faculties of the University discussed educational cooperation between Taiwanese and Vietnamese universities, as well as scholarship and exchange opportunities for students and faculty members. The program provided lecturers and students with direct information on postgraduate study opportunities, scholarship programs, and academic cooperation between universities in Taiwan and Vietnam.

The delegation included representatives from the following Taiwanese universities and organizations:
Asia University; China Medical University; Fo Guang University; Kaohsiung Medical University; National Cheng Kung University; National Chi Nan University; National Chiayi University; National Chung Hsing University; National Dong Hwa University; National Formosa University; National Ilan University; National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology; National Pingtung University of Science and Technology; National Sun Yat-sen University; National Taichung University of Education; National Taipei University; National Taipei University of Technology; National Taiwan University of Science and Technology; National Yunlin University of Science and Technology; Tzu Chi University; University of Taipei; and the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students.

The meeting was held in a friendly, open, and productive atmosphere, marking an important step in the University’s internationalization strategy. Through upcoming cooperation programs, Nong Lam University hopes to expand opportunities for study, research, and career development for its students and faculty members, while further strengthening sustainable partnerships between Nong Lam University – Ho Chi Minh City and educational partners from Taiwan.
